FOUNDER AND PRESIDENT

neeraj kumar mehra

Neeraj Kumar Mehra is the Founder of the National Council of Sports Sciences and Physical Education (NCSPE). He is formerly elected Executive Council Member of the International Olympic Academy Participants Association for 2019-2021. He is PR and Press Officer with World Martial Arts Committee (WMAGC). He is Chief Executive Officer of Dr B.R. Ambedkar Sports Foundation, Board member of Traditional Sports and Games Association (TSG-India) and International Association of Combative Sports (IACS). He is also an Ad-hoc committee member of the Asian Traditional Sports and Games Association (Established by the International Traditional Sports and Games Association). He has also worked with Indira Gandhi Institute of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, Department of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, Faculty of Interdisciplinary and Allied Sciences, the University of Delhi as Assistant Professor-Physical Education on a Guest basis.  Mr Mehra has worked as Research Officer with Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports and Assistant Private Secretary with Union Minister of Food Processing Industries, Government of India. He has worked as Lecturer with the State Council of Educational Research and Training, New Delhi. He was also Project Officer with Organising Committee Commonwealth Games Delhi 2010. His other working experience includes tenure as a Teacher at school, collages, and university levels. He is a graduate in physical education, health education and sports sciences from Indira Gandhi Institute of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, University of Delhi and a postgraduate in physical education from the Department of Physical Education, Kurukshetra University. Neeraj Kumar Mehra is the first candidate from India in the Master Degree Programme ‘Olympic Studies, Olympic Education, Management and Organisation of Olympic Events organised by International Olympic Academy and Department of Sports Organisation and Management, Faculty of Human Movement and Life Sciences University of Peloponnese in collaboration with International Olympic Academy, Ancient Olympia, Athens, Greece. His area of interests includes Olympism, Olympic and Paralympic Movement, Olympic and Paralympic Education, Olympic and Paralympic Values, Quality Physical Education Policy, Inclusive Physical Education, Mobilisation of UN Sustainable Development Goals 2030 through Sports, Intangible Cultural Heritage through Sports, Global Active Cities and closely associated with various national and international stakeholders of related areas. He has contributed to various government schemes like Elite Athletes Identification Committee, Target Olympic Podium (TOP), National Sports Development Fund (NSDF), Corporate Social Responsibility in Sports, Office of Minister of Youth Affairs & Sports, Matters related to National Youth Advisory Council, International Cooperation Cell (IC), Human Resource Development in Sports (HRDS), National Sports University (NSU), National Centre for Sports Science and Research (NCSS&R), National Centre for Sports Coaching (NCSC), Matters related to Cabinet Communications, Right to Information regarding NSU, NCSS&R, NCSC, Khelo India School Games, Cash Awards to Medal Winners of Asian Games, Out of Pocket Allowance to Athletes (OPA), DBT, PFMS etc. His international academic contribution is documented in the Imagine Peace Youth Camp, Olympia Praxis Summer Programme, International Session for International Olympic Academy Participants Association, International Session for Directors of National Olympic Academies. He has co-authored 8 books, 06 Research Papers, 01 Article, 03 Abstracts. He has received various international fellowships like John. S. Latsis Fellowship in 2010, Olympia Alliance Fellowship in 2013, Olympic Solidarity Fellowship in 2014, International Olympic Truce Centre Fellowship in 2014. He has widely travelled worldwide for professional assignments such as Greece, Nepal, South Africa Latvia & USA, Korea & UK. He has been invited 15 times as Resource Person/Expert and has given more than 20 Presentations. He is a  member of 7 National Committees and 02 Academic Projects, including the Swastha Bachhe Swastha (SBSB) Bharat project of KVS, launched by the Minister of Human Resource Development. DR.RAKESH TOMAR

Dr. Rakesh Tomar is currently employed as a professor in the Department of Physical Education at Saudi Arabia's King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals. He has a distinguished academic career in Physical Education and Sports spanning more than 23 years. In 2008, he received his Ph.D. in Physical Education from India's Lakshmibai National Institute of Physical Education. He is a gold medalist in the University of Delhi's B.Sc and Masters of Physical Education exams. He has been appointed to North West University in South Africa as an Extraordinary Research Scientist. He is also an Adjunct Faculty member at Rashtriya Raksha University in Gujarat, India, and a Research Fellow at the Korean Academic Society for South and North Sports, as well as a member of the Asian Society of Kinesiology's board of directors. 

· He is the author of three books in the field of physical education. Dr. Tomar is a seasoned researcher who has authored 54 peer-reviewed papers (20 in prestigious web of science journals). As Principal Investigator, he has been granted 12 fully funded Major Research Projects. As a foreign examiner, he has reviewed 91 Ph.D. theses. Dr. Tomar is a credentialed peer reviewer who has reviewed 134 publications for a variety of international journals, including several with very high impact. He is a member of the Editorial Board of 45 international publications, as well as a panel of reviewers. He has visited more than 55 countries around the world and has attended over 365 international conferences, seminars, and workshops. He's spoken as a Keynote/Guest Speaker at over 120 conferences, seminars, webinars, and workshops throughout the world, and he's even chaired some of them . He has collaborated on research at North West University in South Africa and Ball State University in Indiana, USA. Has been invited to West Virginia University in the United States as a Visiting Scholar. He has received awards for Outstanding Service at King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals in Saudi Arabia, for Passion and Devotion at the 7th Asian Conference on Kinesiology in Incheon, Korea, for Certificate of Excellence for Outstanding Presentation at the Western Society for Kinesiology and Wellness Conference in Reno, for Commendable Service in Sports in Doha, Qatar, USA, and for National Teacher Award in Delhi, INDIA. He is a member of various committees, associations, and other professional groups, as well as a frequent attendee at international conferences.

dr.sudhir KUMAR sharma

 Dr. Sudhir Kumar Sharma, is presently working as Associate Professor, Department of Physical Education, Swarnim Gujarat Sports University, Gandhinagar & Director, IQAC, SGSU. He has more than 25 years of distinguished academic career in the field of Physical Education. He is a Post Graduate in Physical Education (1998) and Ph.D. in Physical Education (2007) both from Alagappa University, TamilNadu. He has authored 38 books and ebooks on Physical Education, Sports Management, Sports Rules and Regulations, and Yogic Sciences, 24 Research Papers/Articles Publication to his Credit.
He has played a vital role in the formation of Norms and Standards, Rules and Regulations for teacher education institutions and courses 2014. He has played key role in construction of B.P.Ed.+M.P.Ed. Integrated) program for Swarnim Gujarat Sports University and got it approved and recognized under innovative channel of NCTE, India.
He is honorary Editor in Chief of PESY, International Journal of Physical Education Sports Management and Yogic Sciences, peer reviewed referred and globally recognized research journal. He has organized numerous Faculty Development Programs, Seminars, Conferences and Workshops on Physical Education while serving Noida College of Physical Education as Principal and as Associate Professor In Swarnim Gujarat Sports University.
He is Chief Advisor to Indian Games Development Organization and Droproball Federation of India.

Jaideep SARKAR

Mr. Jaideep Sarkar, an International Sports Expert is the Lead Officer of India’s First Global Active Partner City, Bokaro and an Executive Board Member of Indian Pierre De Coubertin Association (IPCA). He is also an Asian Silver Medallist in Volleyball (AVC) with Post Graduate Qualification in Sports Management, Global accreditation in Coaching from International Olympic Committee (IOC Solidarity) & International Volleyball Federation (FIVB). Earlier he has been assigned as Project Officer in Commonwealth Games 2010 & Administrator in National Games 2011.

Mr. Sarkar is working in India’s Maharatna Company, Steel Authority of India Ltd. (SAIL) at it’s Bokaro unit which has been accredited in 2020-21 by the apex Global authorities to expedite the IOC supported salubrious mission of Sports Culturing through the much desired Global Active City (GAC) programme at India’s First Global Active City at Bokaro Steel City in Jharkhand State of India. 

Mr. Jaideep Sarkar also possesses a professional experience of more than 30 years in the areas of Sports Development, Sports Science, Advocacy & Coaching and has been continuously interacting as a Sports Resource Person in a number of esteemed Global Sports Promotional avenues besides assignments in Germany’s Leipzig University’s projects through it’s ITK wing, International Day of Sports for Development & Peace (IDSDP). He has a passion towards making Sports, a global affair for human development through observing the values of “Olympism” & “Olympic Movement”.

In recent years, the active & dynamic role of Mr. Sarkar has been many times appreciated by his commendable advocacy at International platforms by IOC’s International Pierre De Coubertin Committee (CIPC) & IOC supported Global Active City (GAC) authorities besides the Indian Olympic Association (IOA) constituted Indian Olympic Education Committee (IOEC).

He has also catalysed the Olympic Movement and Olympic Mission at International level particularly in South East Asia bridging the gap of International boundaries through his pivotal role in the Olympic avenues. Commissioning of partner city cluster of Rawalpindi-Attock-Chakwal of Pakistan in Global Active City (GAC) programme, exploring GAC in Kurigram (Bangladesh) & Kirtipur (Nepal) apart from enlisting probable candidate National Committees’ of Nepal, Srilanka & Pakistan as well as full fledged recognition of Gambia (Africa) in International Pierre De Coubertin Committee (CIPC) network are some illustrations in this regard. 

Recently under his pivotal role in the event of Volleyball, the much desired Sports-Corporate collaboration through nurturing the strong Tangible and Organised sectors for grassroots promotion of the event got a new dimension and filip. Establishment of National Volleyball Academy in the sports fertile state of Jharkhand and reinstating the important segment of Mini Volleyball for grassroots Volleyball promotion across the country also with Sports Corporate partnership are some notable issues in this regard.

JAGJIT SINGH

Jagjit Singh is presently working in Kendriya Vidyalaya. He is coordinator/Incharge, Regional Sports Cell, KVS Gurugram Region. He has more than 19 years of glorious academic and professional career in Physical Education and Sports. He completed his M.Phil (Physical Education) from Kurukshetra University in the year 2004 and M.P.Ed.(2002) and PGDPEd (2000) from IGIPESS, Delhi University. He was honoured with Dr. B.R.Ambedkar National Award in 2018. He received KVS Regional Incentive Award in the year 2019. He got Dr. B.R.Ambedkar Youth Dignity Award (2019). He worked as a keymember of High Level Expert Committee for the fitness programme under the campaign of स्वस्थ बच्चे-स्वस्थ भारत launched by MHRD and implemented in all Kendriya Vidyalayas across India. He acted as a member of Chintan Shivir/National Workshop for School Curriculum (Represented KVS) organized by MHRD, New Delhi. He participated in National Level Vichar Manthan “ज्ञानोत्सव- प्रदर्शनी regarding new Ideas and Experiments in Education, held at Gandhi Smriti, New Delhi. He acted as a Resource Person/Expert Trainer for the National Level Teacher Training Programme for ‘स्वस्थ बच्चे-स्वस्थ भारत’ physical health and fitness programme. He worked as a member of KVS Regional Committee for “Imparting Life Skills to students with regular Curriculum Transaction in KVS”. He participated in the Facilitators’ Development Workshop for “THE AWAKENED CITIZEN PROGRAMME” conducted by Ramakrishna Mission, New Delhi. He is qualified License Coach of AIFF and attended many Coaching Coursed organized by AIFF. He attended International and National Level Workshop/Seminars/Conferences and presented papers on various topics. He is a member of Royal Football Club, Delhi since 1999.

Dr. Anek Goel is an Associate Professor with Department of Physical Education, Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College (University of Delhi). He has more then 20 years of Academic and administrative experience. He was Director in Organising Committe, Commonwealth Games, Delhi2010. He has presented and published research papers in International and national conferences. He has also worked on government funded research projects. He holds positions in organisationa such as Delhi Archery Association, Indian leisure and Recreation Organisation etc.

Dr. Anjum Padyal is Associate Professor with Department of
Physical Education and Sports Sciences, Deshbandhu College, University of Delhi. She is Topper from LNIPE ,Gwalior, 1992 batch.
She was a gymnast and begged World rank 8th in Suzuki world cup 2006, Tokyo, Japan.she was appointed as an Observer for Indian Contingent in Asian Indoor Games, She was appointed as a Sports Psychologist for World University Games,2019, Italy. She has many international Research papers on her credit. She has written many books on yoga and stress management for Delhi University curriculum Aerobics: A way to Fitness.
Her two books are best seller on Amazon i.e. Encyclopedia for Gym Trainers and Marshal the Mind. She is Certified YTTC 500 hrs yoga Trainer from Yoga Alliance USA, registering more than 10,000 hours.
She is working at International level and provide International Yoga Teacher Training Certificate valid in 196 countries to establish Yoga brands in various countries 🇮🇳
 

dr.avdesh kumar shirotiya

 

Dr. Shirotriya has obtained his Ph.D. in Physical Education from Devi Ahilya Vishwadhyalya, Indore (MP), India in 2015, and M.Phil. with sport psychology specialization from the Lakshmibai National University of Physical Education, Gwalior (MP), India in 2009. He started his teaching career as Lecturer in 2009. He has been involved in teaching and research in the field of physical education and sport sciences for more than 11 years. Presently he is functioning as Assistant Professor in Secondary and Sports Education, School of Education, Fiji National University,Fiji Islands . In addition to educating BEd In-service and Pre-Service students, He also engages in research and service to the profession. His research aims to empower the Physical Education Teachers so that they can create an impact on the schools.

He is also contributing as a member of the editorial board and reviewer in the National and International Journal. He has produced 21 research Articles and Papers in journals of national and international repute, and also written 04 books. Dr. Shirotriya's articles on contemporary sports-related issues are frequently published in Sports Kreeda, New Delhi, and The Fiji Times. He also has a rich experience to organize 10 National and International academic events such as Conferences and E-workshop with distinct roles. He has been instrumental to bring many sports achievements for Birla Institute of Management Technology, Greater Noida, India served as Sports Officer from 2013 to 2019.

He is the recipient of the “Early Career Conference Grant 2021” from the Association of Commonwealth Universities, London, United Kingdom. He has also received a Commendation from the office of the Additional Director General (Prisons), Government of Uttar Pradesh (UP) for his contribution to the establishment of “Bimtech Pustakalya” in different Prisons of UP, India 

Dr Aerum Khan

   

Dr Aerum Khan, Ph.D. (Botany), Ph.D. (Education) is Assistant Professor at IASE, F/o Education, JMI, New Delhi. Earlier she worked with NCERT, New Delhi, SCERT Delhi, Department of Biosciences, JMI and Department of Botany, SNPG College, Azamgarh. She has been a Visiting Faculty for SOL-Delhi University, IGNOU (continued) and NIOS, and has been Academic Consultant for the British Council. Got published more than 50 articles, chapters and research papers in Botany and Education in National and International journals, presented papers in various Seminars and Conferences. Has been the core team member of developing and managing team of the National Repository of Open Educational Resources and ePathshala of NCERT. She was the core member of development team of NCERT for MOOCs for school education on SWAYAM. She has been the Academic Coordinator for the UGC funded project e-PGPathshala for the subject of Education, joint venture of CIET-NCERT and University of Allahabad. She has trained more than 30,000 In-service and Pre-service Teachers and Students pan India, through Face-to-face and Videoconferencing methods, for Innovative Practices in ICT for improving teaching-learning practices and development of e-content. The first online PG level MOOC in Education created by her and team has been launched by UGC on SWAYAM platform on 1 August 2017, Online Courses on SWAYAM for 11th and 12th classes in Chemistry are also developed by her and team. She has been the coordinator for SBA and NAS for Science at ESD-NCERT, associated with Azim Premji University, Bengaluru as well a co-faculty for 2 Refresher courses on ARPIT for AMU, Aligarh on SWAYAM. She was nominated by UGC for receiving MHRD sponsored training for SWAYAM Course Coordinators at Chennai, jointly conducted by IIT Bombay, IIM Bangalore, NIEPA Delhi and NITTTR Chennai. In March 2020 she was invited by IIT Madras and JNU, New Delhi to develop video lectures for UG level for National telecast through SwayamPrabha Channels of MoE-GoI. Under this project 46 videos for ‘Child Development Learning and Teaching’ were created in the first phase, these are in telecast on Channel 16 of IIT Kanpur. In the second phase 33 videos of ‘Conceptual Foundations of Education’ are developed. In the third phase 28 videos of ‘Educational Technology’ paper I are developed. Presently the fourth phase of video development for ‘Educational Technology’ paper II is going on. She is the recipient of the ‘Inspiring Woman Awards 2021’ from ‘Fourth Screen Education’ for outstanding and remarkable services in the field of Education.

S.Lt. Vimal gautam

S.Lt. Vimal Parkash Goutam is working as Assistant Professor of Physical Education since 2012 with Higher Education Department, Government of Haryana and presently posted at Pt. J.L.N. Government P.G. College, Faridabad. Before joining as Assistant Professor he had served as Physical Education Teacher for renowned Indian institutions like Navodya Vidyalaya Samiti & Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangthan. He is also selected for Department of School Education, Government of Haryana as TGT. He qualified National Eligibility Test for College/University Teachers and Haryana State Teachers Eligibility Test for Lecturer in the subject Physical Education. He has completed M.Phil from K.U.K, University, Haryana. He has also completed Pre Commission Course and Refresher Course for Associate NCC Officer (Naval Wing). He presented many research papers at various International & National platforms. He is pursuing P.hD. from S.R.T.M. University, Nanded, Maharashtra. His research papers are also published in many National, International and UGC Care journals. He is fond of writing poems and a book of collection of his poems with titled “कविता ‘ए’ तल्ख़” has been published by BLUEROSE PUBLISHERS with ISBN: 978-93-5427-575-3 in March, 2021. 

dr.madhuri sadagir

 Dr. Madhuri Sadgir is Assistant Professor of Physical Education and working with the Department of Physical Education of University of Mumbai. Since 2010, she has been serving in the field of Physical Education and Coaching Volleyball. Her key subjects are Sports Training and Coaching, Research Methodology, Wellness & Fitness and Sports Nutrition. She is Diploma holder and FIVB Level 1 Volleyball Coach as well as a Former National Medalist of Volleyball. Worked as a Head Coach of State and University level Male and Female Volleyball teams. She also served as a VIS technical evaluator in Men’s Junior World Volleyball Championship as well as Lusofonia Games 2014. She was assigned as a selection committee member by Maharashtra State Sports Director as well as North Maharashtra and SNDT University Volleyball team. She is honoured with a PhD [entitled as Development of Performance Evaluation System in Volleyball] in Physical Education from Pune University and supervising the PhD Scholar since 2015. Her area of interest in research is Developmental and Experimental research. She completed a Major Research Project on Construction of Performance Evaluation Rating Scale for Women in Volleyball, funded by the Ministry of Sports, India. She delivers her talks on fitness, wellness, coaching and training, and stress management as resource person at International and National conferences as well as UGC sponsored Workshops. She was also invited as session Chairperson at international conferences of Physical Education in India and overseas. Presented research papers and participated at International conferences in India and overseas. She is keen to serve scientific training in the field of Volleyball as well as enriching the research arena in sports sciences.
